We offer tuition in all aspects of fly fishing for everyone, from the absolute beginner to advanced fly fishers, aimed at increasing their skill and understanding and hence their enjoyment and success in this enthralling sport. This includes individual casting lessons, casting courses, entomology, fly-tying demonstrations, guided fishing, and escorted trips abroad and in the UK.

Trout and salmon casting instruction is undertaken from our platforms on a beautiful private lake at Fonthill Gifford in Wiltshire. Our casting instructors are APGAI/GAIA qualified and are nationally recognised as Hardy Greys Academy Approved Instructors, which enables us to teach you to the very highest level.

The 2008 Season sees us returning to the Findhorn in Scotland to continue our popular Spey casting and salmon fishing courses. We will also be giving casting lessons on the lakes at the Kimbridge Estate bordering the Test and in addition will be teaching trout casting at Rockbourne Trout Fishery in Hampshire.

Our chalk stream guided days continue to be extremely popular and we can now offer new beats on the Test, Itchen and Kennet for individuals, groups and company corporate days.

In conjunction with Avolan, Cuban saltwater fly fishing is now available on Isla de la Juventud. This new underexploited destination provides really exceptional sport.

For the truly adventurous fly fisher a first for us is to offer a fantastic week’s peacock bass fishing on the legendary River Amazon in Brazil. Details on request.

In Norway we now have access to new premier beats on the mighty Gaula river, with a hosted trip in 2008.

In addition to these specific trips we are now able to facilitate fly fishing to most top destinations world-wide on request.

Last season we hosted and guided many marvellous chalk stream trout fishing days. Notable salmon have been caught by our clients both in Scotland and Norway, and we have taught an ever increasing number of fishers trout and salmon casting from our casting platforms on the lake at Fonthill Gifford, which clients without exception find the ideal setting in which to perfect their casting.
